We are looking for Ultrasound Systems Engineer to play a key role in creating our next generation of ultrasound products that are saving lives around the world.The specific role will be around ownership and releasing tissue-specific presets for the China Market.

　　Your role:

　　Applying acoustic wave propagation and signal processing theory to the design and specification of new imaging algorithms and imaging sub-systems. Development and implementation of new ultrasound imaging capabilities, including development plans, algorithm design, integration strategy, and SW implementation.

　　Apply advanced techniques such as deep learning and AI to improve ultrasound-imaging performance. Develop data augmentation methods based on ultrasound physics and imaging artifacts.

　　Specification of new imaging algorithms and imaging sub-systems and their effects on product performance

　　Collaborate with Marketing and Product Management organizations to define new feature requirements to meet specific clinical applications and market needs. Help translate marketing/customer requirements into engineering specifications.

　　Experience with contrast imaging and other advanced imaging modes (e.g., shearwave imaging)

　　Provide training and support to customers and field post-release

　　You're the right fit if:

　　You’ve acquired 4+ years’ experience in ultrasound research and/or product development focused on ultrasound beamforming, antenna design/modeling, optimal acquisition design, signal and image processing.Experience working in a clinical environment with clinical professionals (sonographers) focused on clinical science/research and translational research.PhD in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science. You have strong technical capabilities (Python, C++, MATLAB).Your Team:

　　The Ultrasound Systems Engineer will be part of the China R&D team AND also the overall acoustics and workflow team based out of North America. This role will be in charge of Image Quality for presets and applications in China.
