　　F-16 Fuels Technician - Romania

　　Draken is looking for experienced F-16 Fuels Technicians to maintain F-16 A/B models at the Romanian Air Force (RoAF) F-16 Training Center at the 86th Air Base, near Borcea, Romania. These aircraft will be used to train RoAF pilots.

　　Contract duration is up to eighteen months. There may be some reduced periods of availability, but not less than 3 months.

　　Must have 5 years of experience on the F-16 coupled with formal training (technical school, career development courses, field training detachments, aircraft maintenance qualification training, A-school as examples). 　　Responsibilities

　　Participate in set-up activities and assist with receiving and storing supplies and support equipment.

　　Leads Hydrazine Response Team, Fuels systems Repair on F-16A/B aircraft

　　Inspects, troubleshoots and maintains aircraft fuels systems, components, and related equipment. Removes and installs aircraft components. Conducts functional tests of repaired components and systems.

　　Advises on problems maintaining, servicing, and inspecting aircraft and related aerospace equipment. Uses technical data to diagnose and solve maintenance problems on aircraft systems. Interprets and advises on maintenance procedures and policies to repair aircraft and related equipment.

　　Inspects and operates powered and nonpowered aerospace ground equipment. Reviews maintenance forms, aircraft records, automated maintenance data systems, and historical reports to ensure complete documentation. Inventories and maintains aircraft equipment.

　　Performs other duties as assigned.

　　Qualifications

　　High school/GED required

　　5 years of F-16 maintenance experience and formal training required

　　Must have been a Hydrazine team member / team leader preferred

　　Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English

　　Must obtain/maintain US secret security clearance

　　Must be able to work all shifts including nights and weekends

　　Must be able to travel as part of a team

　　PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

　　Environment ranges from office to hangar and flight line. Extensive sitting to climbing, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, and walking demands.

　　Special vision abilities required are close vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust and focus.

　　Must be able to climb stairs, ramps, ladders, and work stands.

　　Must be able to crouch, crawl, grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbow/knee and reach above/below shoulders.

　　Must be able to distinguish color and judge three-dimensional depths.

　　May be exposed to extreme noise from turbine and jet engine aircraft.

　　May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles; may be exposed to electrical shock hazards or work near moving mechanical parts, vehicles, or aircraft.

　　Regularly required to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, perform repetitive movements, and perform work from ground level to overhead.
