JOB REQUIREMENTS: Operate equipment to compact various surfaces such asdirt and aggregates. Operate equipment safely and efficiently. Learn andfollow rolling patterns. Understand equipment and their uses. Work withother crew members. Perform daily inspection and maintenance and ensurethat equipment is in safe and proper working order including fluidchecks and proper lubrication. Reports to shop when equipment needsrepair. Keeps roller clean and prepares equipment for transport ontrailer when needed. Fill water truck following company procedures.Distribute water in desired areas as needed Maintain orderliness,cleanliness and safety at job-site. Fulfill duties of position and anyother tasks within their abilities as assigned by the crewleader/management. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Ahigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. ClassA CDL required. Must pass DOT physical & drug screen. Must be able tounderstand directions and communicate effectively with job site leadersand coworkers. Ability to understand and follow company policies andsafety procedures.
