　　Mercy Fitzgerald, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is looking for an Ultrasound Tech to join our Radiology team!

　　PRN/Pool, per department needs for day, night, weekday, weekends, rotating schedule

　　Summary:

　　Performs a variety of technical procedures that requires skill, independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative in the use of diagnostic ultrasound equipment for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physician. The purpose is delivery of quality care.

　　Use of equipment according to manufacturers guidelines

　　Knowledge of PAC's system

　　Demonstrates skill/knowledge in the use of all standard ultrasound equipment and a solid foundation in ultrasound theory

　　Operates all ultrasound equipment and can select and modify technical factors as needed

　　Demonstrates competence in all areas of the ultrasound positioning, physiology procedures, preparation and technical factors

　　Requirements:

　　HS graduate or equivalent, completion of an accredited program in ultrasound technology

　　Must be a registered ultrasound technologist (ARDMS) within 24 months of completion of an accredited ultrasound program

　　BLS certification required
