  Job Description

  AECOM is seeking to hire a Roadway Discipline Lead to support our exciting projects in the Pacific Northwest.

  Serves as discipline lead engineer on large-complex projects.

  Leads and mentors a team.

  Approves and signs off on work.

  Provides technical expertise for studies and design efforts.

  Presents complex technical solutions to clients.

  Performs quality control reviews of work developed by others.

  Participates and leads task force meetings for the roadway discipline.

  Provides estimates for the engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements on large projects.

  Qualifications

  Minimum Qualifications:

  BA/BS + 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

  Professional Engineer (PE) license in Washington State or ability to obtain Washington PE within six months if not currently registered in WA

  Preferred Qualifications:

  Experience as Roadway Discipline Lead on Design-Build projects

  Expertise in developing design packages for highway and/or roadway improvement projects in Washington State and experience delivering projects for WSDOT

  Experience managing a large discipline team in a fast-paced environment

  Minimum of 12 years of technical experience which reflect a progressively increasing level of leadership and responsibility

  Proficient in the use of and ability to lead others in the use of Microstation and InRoads

  Excellent written and oral communications skills

  WSDOT Design Build experience preferred

  Additional Information

  Local candidates to Seattle highly preferred

  In-office/project office co-location required

  Offered rate of compensation (WA locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $107,000-$198,000.
