Medical Surgical Nursing, Scanning and giving all types of Medication, Vital /Signs, Head to Toe Assessments, IVs, Blood administration, POCs, Isolation,

　　Equipment utilized in the unit/dept.

　　Placing Telemetry, POC, Vital Signs (Phillips), Vein Viewers, Medical Supplies, Bladder Scanner, Meditech charting.

　　Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.

　　2N has 23 surgical beds and 3N has 19 adult beds and 5 peds beds Nurse to patient ratio of this unit.

　　5patients per RN Support staff of LPN and or CNAs to help with VS, POC, daily living, walking.

　　Requirements

　　Required skills and minimum years of experience.

　　Minimum 2 years’ experience in Medical Surgical Nursing

　　Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required.

　　BLS, ACLS preferred but not mandatory.
