　　Saint Joseph Hospital is a 433-bed facility located in Lexington Kentucky. Founded in 1877 a small group of Sisters of Charity of Nazareth in Kentucky led by Sister Euphrasia Stafford began their health ministry. Their mission was to provide compassionate care to the poor and underserved – a tradition still carried out today. Saint Joseph Hospital primarily serves central and eastern Kentucky with a full range of services including distinguished awards for cardiology orthopedics and stroke care. 　　Responsibilities

　　Expectations:

　　Support Cardiologists treating patients with cardiac dysrhythmia, coronary heart diseases and congestive heart failure

　　Deliver postoperative care to patients following minor and major surgical procedures

　　Facilitate education on heart disease to patients including medications, dietary changes, and weight management

　　Demonstrate curiosity for continuous learning on various heart disease processes, treatment options, and innovation in cardiac care

　　Qualifications

　　Minimum Qualifications

　　Associate’s Degree (ADN) in Nursing from an accredited nursing college or program

　　Active Registered Nurse (RN) license cleared by the Kentucky Board of Nursing or with eNLC multi-state practice privilege

　　Basic Life Support (BLS)

　　Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS ) required to obtain within 90 days post hire

　　Preferred Qualifications:

　　Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)

　　2 years of experience as a Cardiac RN or Critical Care Nurse

　　Pay Range

　　$30.00 - $43.50 /hour
