Description

　　Summary:

　　Performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to vehicles, small gas, diesel, electrical equipment and generators. Carries out assigned projects to completion with little oversight.

　　Work Schedule: PRN Flex

　　Responsibilities:

　　Performs oil changes and inspects hoses, belts, fluid and wiring. Replaces worn or broken parts, adjusts brakes and performs minor body work. Carries out preventive schedules for all vehicles, generator and modules and related equipment.

　　Maintains records, prepares reports and maintains other specialized maintenance records of equipment and mechanical equipment.

　　Enters data in fleet maintenance software to track service intervals, repairs, material, cost, fuel economy and parts inventory.

　　May drive emergency vehicles and respond to on-call requests on nights, weekends and holidays.

　　Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

　　Requirements:

　　Minimum Required Education: High School diploma or GED. Required Licensure/Certification: Valid driver's license. Within 2 years of hire: Automotive Service Excellence Certified (ASE Levels 1 - 9) and EVT Level I ambulance technician.

　　Minimum Experience: 1 year of experience in automotive and diesel repair.

　　The pay range for this position is: $22.14 - $28.78 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
