The full-time role can be located anywhere within 50 miles of a major airport since many projects will require continental travel.Overall Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:* Manage and lead economic analysis for transmission, distribution, and substation infrastructure for renewable project feasibility studies* Model and analysis with industry-standard software, such as PSSE, PSLF, Aspen, ProMOD, Plexos, or equivalent software* Design substation, transmission and distribution layouts for large renewable developments* Support project interconnections* Provide reviews of 30% complete Construction Designs ensuring electrical completion* Analyze large-scale power systems for major utilities, regional operators* Write and edit major reports and presentations for clients and executive management teams* Present and communicate effectively with the client's senior managers* Present and participate in external stakeholders/ public to defend the studies* Able to complete projects on time and within budget* Interact with senior management, clients and contractors* Provide backup to proposals and cost estimates for projects* Grow business through project work and client relationships* Support new business development in pursuing new opportunities* Publish conference papers and presentationsQualifications:* A bachelors' degree in electrical engineering (Master's and/or MBA preferred)* 3+ years' experience in in the utility industry* Experience with industry-standard software, such as PSSE, PSLF, Aspen, ProMOD, Plexos, or equivalent software* PE / PEng registration or the a
