Minimum qualifications:

　　Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

　　4 years of experience in analytics, SQL, or building databases/tools.

　　2 years of experience in audit, compliance, or risk management.

　　Experience managing projects across organizations, and building new programs and processes across a matrixed organization.

　　Preferred qualifications: Experience leading implementation of security risk and compliance frameworks for large security programs, including knowledge of applicable global privacy laws, regulations, and binding legal commitments.

　　Experience in privacy, security or compliance, privacy principles, and relevant technologies.

　　Audit experience, with an understanding of risk and control frameworks.

　　Experience building product requirement documents, interest in improving user experience, analytically-minded, logical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills.

　　Comfortable with ambiguity, willing to adapt to rapidly changing demands, and the ability to bring order to chaos.

　　Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including policy document writing and delivery.

　　YouTube Global Vendor Operations (GVO) organization oversees scaled vendor support for YouTube Content Moderation, YouTube Creators, and Paid Products. The Risk, Compliance and Governance (RCG) team is the center of excellence responsible for maintaining structure and rigor across YouTube Scaled Vendor supplier base. This includes vendor adherence to requirements including Vendor Contract Terms, Tools Access Programs, Wellness programming, Outsourcing Solutions, and designing and managing vendor governance solutions that enable the GVO teams to measure Vendor Compliance across the Supplier base for our scaled outsourced operations..

　　As a Risk and Governance Specialist, you will be part of a dynamic, vendor strategy, governance, and compliance team reinventing the way our scaled vendor operations is managed. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team that is building new supplier governance foundations for a scaled Vendor Operations of TVCs, and is directly influencing the YouTube Scaled Vendor operating model.

　　This role requires a lot of US based cross-functional collaboration in order to deliver the Governance Solutions. As a result, one must be willing to work between the hours of 2PM-1AM IST Monday through Friday.

　　Responsibilities

　　Design and build a variety of vendor governance compliance programs with other GVO teams, and Risk and Compliance teams that we collaborate with.

　　Partner with Risk and Governance Program Managers, develop partnerships with product and engineering teams, strategy and operations teams, and Risk and Compliance to identify issues, develop systemic solutions, and effectively communicate them.

　　Design and build Tools User Access and Data Governance strategy, including measurement framework, and continued refinement approach.

　　Partner with the GVO organization to communicate existing vendor compliance policies, source, and synthesize feedback on current dashboards and build solutions for gaps. Maintain Vendor Compliance and Audit Playbooks.
