Work closely with the CEO to direct and oversee new business development activities in the U.S., including market development research and strategy associated with ramen and Japanese restaurant business expansion projects and supervision of operational activities of market development research projects. Determine short-term and long-term goals of the restaurant and implement specific strategies to reach target. Determine and authorize personnel increase or decrease based on Foodex's business expansion and revenues and execute the hiring and termination of employees and determine promotions, bonuses, and salary increases. Review and analyze monthly growth, financial standing, operational costs, customer feedback, budget, and new technical implementation of each restaurant to improve business consistency. Identify potential operational problems and make recommendations for the appropriate course of action to be taken.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a similar field and five years of experience executing business development and management responsibilities for restaurants or retail stores or alternatively, seven years of experience business development and management responsibilities for restaurants or retail stores; - Management and business development experience in a Japanese cuisine restaurant; - Experience with inventory management in the restaurant industry, including supply chain viability analysis and material sourcing for foodstuffs; - Experience with restaurant industry market research and development; - Experience with staff management in the restaurant industry, including hiring and training responsibilities; - Experience analyzing risk positions, profitability, and ROI in the restaurant industry; and - Experience managing licensing and regulatory compliance in the restaurant industry.Intermittent domestic and international travel
