This is an exciting opportunity to join our brand new restaurant! Nick's Quorum, is looking for General Restaurant Manager! Nick's Quorum is on track to open in March 2024 and the General Restaurant Manager will be heavily involved with pre-opening and opening of the outlet. The ideal candidate will have experience with restaurant opening, team building,extensivewine and cocktailknowledge and managing all areas of the restaurant operation. Experience in a hotel setting is a plus but not required.

　　Nick's Quorum, A Modern Supper Club, being designed by local and nationally acclaimed Leo A. Daly will feature a dark, moody, and sophisticated ambiance that will drive dinner notoriety among hotel guests and locals alike. Nick's Quorum, A Modern Supper Club, will feature prime rib, traditional supper club chops and seafood, in an 88 seat restaurant.

　　What will I be doing?

　　As a Restaurant General Manager, you would be responsible for directing and administering the activities and services of a designated restaurant(s) in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

　　Plan and direct all aspects of restaurant operations to include, but not limited to, guest service standards and initiatives, product quality, cost controls and overall profitability, marketing initiatives, systems use and management, budgeting and forecasting, department management, policy and procedure implementation and enforcement and meeting participation and facilitationMonitor and develop team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision and professional development, conducting counselling and evaluations and delivering recognition and rewardCreate and maintain customer database and partner with Sales and Marketing/Public Relations on marketing strategyMaximize efficiency technology system(s) (i.e. Open Table)Monitor and assess service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordinglyEnsure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standardsInitiate and implement up-selling techniques to promote restaurant food and beverage and services and to maximize overall revenue, including, but not limited to, creating new menus and cross-selling products and services hotel-wideRecruit, interview and train team membersWhat are we looking for?
