Job Summary
Restaurant Associates, known for operating multiple restaurants featured in the Michelin Guide, is seeking a General Manager who embodies Michelin-level excellence in their work. Reporting directly to the Regional Director of Operations, this role is pivotal in overseeing the day-to-day operations of a Full Scale Restaurant and demands a range of exceptional skills, including effective communication, multitasking, team leadership, client relations, and a commitment to ensuring outstanding food quality and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of P&L and budgeting specific to the restaurant.
Assume responsibility for the overall day-to-day operations of the restaurant.
Handle HR functions, including hiring, progressive counseling, and terminations.
Supervise scheduling, payroll, and team training.
Cultivate strong relationships with customers, guests, clients, and other departments.
Collaborate with the Chef and management team to develop menus and deliver top-quality cuisine.
Implement new culinary programs in collaboration with the Company's marketing and culinary team.
Preferred Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or Culinary Arts is preferred.
Five years of experience in fine dining restaurant operations.
Prior experience working in a Michelin-rated restaurant.
Essential experience in high-volume production and catering.
Prior budget management experience.
A strong desire to learn and advance within a top-tier foodservice company.
