　　BayCare Health System is currently in search of our newest Respiratory Apprentice. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community and seeking a career opportunity with one of the largest employers within the Tampa Bay area. 　　Responsibilities:

　　Insuring that equipment, such as life support/mechanical ventilators etc. are decontaminated, processed, re-assembled, calibrated and operationally checked according to manufacturer specifications.

　　Delivers, monitors, maintains and safeguards medical grade gases throughout the facility, including cylinders of various sizes and liquid oxygen systems.

　　Performs adjustments and repairs on selected equipment in consultation with the Biomedical Department.

　　Ensures that equipment and supplies are accessible, in good condition and of sufficient quantity to meet patient care needs.

　　Performs other duties as assigned.

　　Must be currently enrolled in respiratory therapist program

　　Education:

　　High School or Equivalent

　　Associate's Preferred - Respiratory

　　Must Currently be enrolled in a respiratory program
