36 hours per week- FULL time Benefits- 7:00pm-7:30am @ Henry Ford Novi-1st week of employment will be on day shift for orientation

GENERAL SUMMARY

Performs various activities regarding telemetry monitoring on patients requiring continual cardiac monitoring.

Responsibilities:

Oversees and communicates cardiac patterns on telemetric devices.

Maintains telemetry monitoring equipment and supply inventory.

Documents irregular rhythms and monitors changes in heartbeat.

Forwards changes to nurse and/or attending physician for analysis and interpretation.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

High School Diploma or GED required

BLS through the American Heart Association required

1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. *Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

EKG technician or experience preferred

Strong attention to detail
