　　Pediatric RSA’s are important team members that provide direct care and supervision of Pediatric Residents ages 6 to 17 years old residing at the facility. Team members are required to perform the following tasks:

　　Treat the Pediatric residents with respect and dignity.

　　Ensure the safety and well-being of the clients.

　　Be a positive role model and advocate for the client.

　　Implement behavior plans and protocols.

　　Assist with activities of daily living.

　　Accompany to the Pediatric School and assist the teacher with educational services.

　　Engage in programming or recreational activities with clients.

　　Report medical emergencies or medical symptoms.

　　Implement protocols and safety techniques.

　　Data Entry.

　　Change of shift report and communication.

　　Accompany clients on medical transports and recreational outings. transports.

　　Team members must be twenty-one years old and possess a high school diploma or GED. The following are preferred but not required:

　　Previous experience in healthcare, mental health or behavioral health

　　Early Childhood Development Certificate or experience is preferred but not required.

　　C.N.A. Licensure is preferred but not required.

　　Associate Degree is preferred but not required.

　　Bachelor’s Degree is preferred but not required.

　　American Sign Language is preferred but not required.

　　Lakeside Neurologic provides a comprehensive new hire orientation training class for RSA’s.

　　We are interviewing RSA candidates for the following shifts:

　　B Shift 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. with rotating weekends

　　C Shift- 11 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. with rotating weekends

　　Weekend Shift - Sunday & Saturday - 7 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.
