Located on Coronado Island just minutes from Downtown San Diego, this 28-acre property was built in 1888 and has over 750 rooms ( to include cottages and villas ), 65,000 square feet of banquet space, and 10 food and beverage outlets. This includes 4 restaurants, 2 bars, food truck, marketplace, ice cream shop, and in-room dining.
The ideal candidate will have hotel experience, excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills, proficiency in team collaboration, outstanding customer service, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

A Reservations Manager is responsible for managing the reservations process and operation in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.This is a training and revenue focused position. Responsible for on-boarding and all Hilton and hotel training requirements. Developing specific and targeted training initiatives to support the revenue goals and expectations of Experience Planners.
What will I be doing?
As a Reservations Manager, you would be responsible for managing the reservations process and operation in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Manage daily Reservations processes and operations to include, but not limited to, room inventory and availability, occupancy, selling guest rooms, and all resort activities and special event tickets, systems use and management, budgeting and forecasting, department management, policy and procedure implementation and enforcement and meeting participation and facilitationManage and communicate information regarding hotel occupancy, promotion, special reservation procedures, operational issues and special eventsServe as liaison with Experience Planning/Reservations teams company-wideMonitor and develop team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision, scheduling, conducting counseling and evaluations, providing professional development and delivering recognition and rewardRecruit, interview and train team membersCalculate, prepare and generate designated reports, including, but not limited to agent productivity.Develop and revise call volume and experience planning forecastsDevelop and conduct targeted training to support sales and revenue goals.Be current on all Resort activities, events, dining options etc.Be able to perform and supervise all essential responsibilities and expectations of the supervisor, experience planning.Assist the team to achieve work efficiencies and individual sales goals and targets.Support team during high call volume.Active coaching to ensure all experience planners/reservations are able to meet and exceed guest demands and expectations.In-depth knowledge of Hotel room types, all resort amenities and activities offered, Hilton Honors Program, Del Membership, wholesale contracts and travel agent inquiry and commissions.What are we looking for?
