Position ResponsibilitiesPromote Safety as the Number One priority of all OMG employees.Collaborate and manage your own research projects on a wide variety oftopics; be a willing team member in helping others to succeed. Acquire adetailed understanding of the construction applications we serve byinteracting directly with the customers that use our products. Developskills including but not limited to computer modelling, computer-aidedengineering, simulation, rapid prototyping, statistical analysis, andthe use of other analytical tools. Communicate in written and oral formthat is clear, concise and tailored to the target audience. Driveaccountability, consistency, and quality across all phases of work.Attend conferences, trade shows, seminars and classes that expand thereach of knowledge into other areas - look for technology solutionsoutside of the construction world. Perform other tasks as assigned.Position Requirements Bachelor?s Degree in Engineer or Science (advanceddegrees preferred) in: Mechanical or Electrical, Electronics,Electrical/Computer, Mechatronics, Robotics, Material Science Creative,tenacious and a problem solver Self-motivated, strong sense of personalaccountability and responsibility Team player and coachable Demonstratedhands-on aptitude Excellent communication skills Solidworks and COMSOLexperience a plus Positive can-do attitude. Physical RequirementsAbility to operate a motor vehicle while maintaining focus on safedriving and avoiding all distractions when behind the wheel, especiallycell phones.
