Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a part time Research Associate III for the Center for Advancing Research & Evaluation for Patient-Centered Care at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.Under the guidance of the Director of Administration and faculty, assists in the conduct of specialized behavioral and social science research and evaluation across multiple projects; participates in research activities within the Center.Among the key duties of this position are the following:
  • As directed, performs various behavioral and social science research and evaluation operations relative to ongoing investigatory activities of the Center including but not limited to conducting literature reviews; and collecting, managing, and analyzing data.
  • Prepares data for timely completion of all requirements of grant reporting including correspondence, progress reports, program evaluations, and other related reports.
  • Assists principal investigator(s) and research administrator with the preparation of articles and presentations.
  • Organizes, maintains, and updates website content.
  • Develops spreadsheets and databases to support project activities.
  • Maintains essential records and assists in the maintenance of all activity files.

  Qualifications

  

Minimum Education and Experience
  • Master's Degree in public health, social or behavioral science plus one (1) year of related research experience, or a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant science plus two (2) years of related research experience.
Certifications/Licenses
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent computer skills including, with working knowledge of software packages including: EndNote; SPSS; Microsoft Access, Excel, and Word.

  • Physical Demands: Standing, sitting, walking, talking and hearing. No special vision requirements. Ability to lift or exert force up to 25 pounds.
