Software Leader for Database Apps

　　Main purpose of the job is to manage the project and resources towards project objectives on scope, time, cost and quality within 2-3 homogeneous technical competency areas / capabilities. Gaining agreements on and achieving project goals and objectives, balancing, and managing the project scope (including requirements), schedule, budget, quality, resources, and risks. Monitoring the business case during project execution with an outcome oriented view focusing on the maximization of the project benefits and business impact . Leading diverse project team(s), empowering the team members to become efficient and effective.

　　Roadmap & Execution

　　Execute the group’s strategy, provide clear roadmap with success criteria, accountability for own team. Remove impediments and act as escalation point for team.

　　Focus on customers by understanding their needs to design and implement solutions.

　　Patient Safety &Quality

　　Deliver high Quality software at a sustainable speed, maintaining an advanced level of software craftmanship as established by the SW CoE.

　　Adhere to applicable development processes, legal, quality, security and regulatory requirements

　　You're the right fit if:

　　Masters (If Bachelors, an equivalent of 5 yrs additional work experience)

　　Philips Project Management Certification or any Project Management Practitioner (or higher)

　　Skills

　　Has managed projects of size 2-4 Million

　　Has managed team sizes of 10-14 directs upto 30 indirects

　　Philips PMBoK or PRINCE, SAFe Agile practitioner

　　Entrepreneurial in nature with high EQ, exhibited good level of working in constrained projects, conflict resolutions

　　Good stakeholder management abilities

　　Relevant knowledge of business, functions, markets in Philips

　　Experience

　　10+ years of relevant working experience, including all aspects of project development and execution, demonstrating record of project management success, both in results achieved and in use of professional methodology.

　　The team works on .NET technologies, C#, Server side programming and hence the candidate should have a background in same or similar stack along with complete design, development, delivery lifecycle. He / She should have a strong technical background, combined with exceptional project management skills and a proven track record of successfully delivering complex software projects and take up accountability for the quality and completeness of all deliverables from the team.

　　Relevant experience in database technologies and adequate knowledge on infra related work

　　People Management experience with global teams

　　Vendor Management – complete lifecycle in output based, fixed price and resource based models

　　Hands on technical ability (current / past) is a must
