Duties will consist of financial modeling on various financial products as well as measure, analyze, and forecast performance in conjunction with operating plans. The Financial Analyst will also advise management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives and prepare reports for management. Key responsibilities
Survey performance to date and assess potential opportunities and risks
Drive monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and if any actions are required
Keep track of monthly and quarterly performance by comparing actuals versus expectations and enabling business partners to handle their resources
Deliver effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide valuable foresight and decision support
Work on monthly and quarterly financial close processes in collaboration with the Accounting team
Have a thorough understanding of internal and external drivers and be able to explain how they are impacting performance and trending
Work alongside cross-functional partners in Accounting and Operations to see the proper execution of plans
An ideal candidate should be highly flexible, comfortable with large amounts of information, and adept at managing expectations
Support weekly, quarterly and annual Area/Segment-level Bookings and P& L forecasting
Present and monitor forecasting reports
Work with senior executives on strategic deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, event tracking and execution, strategic resource allocation, and prioritization
Requirements - Financial planning & analysis (go-to-market experience preferable)
Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills highly desired
1+ years of experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)
Able to build and deliver effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds
BA/BS degree in finance or a related field
Skilled in Spreadsheet and ERP system
Active problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity
Microsoft Excel experience desired
SAP experience preferred
Proficiency with Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools required
