  Job Description Summary

  Aero Alliance is kicking off a transformation to become a more vertically integrated service supplier, providing customers a wing to wing service from L4 to component repair to engine test service. Unlocking more control of service quality, turnaround time, productivity and, ultimately, performance.

  To reach this goal a multiyear plan to insource repair capability into Aero Alliance while strengthening a reliable portfolio of external suppliers has been approved.

  The Repair Development Leader will be part of the CEO staff and he/she leads the implementation of such plan.

  Job Description

  Roles and Responsibilities

  In the early stage of the project

  You will start from the approved insourcing plan and create a detailed actionable plan for the entire duration of the projectYou will identify/hire the other members of his/her project team, the core team will include program managers, repair engineers and process engineersYou will identify other expertise that will be needed in the extended project team and will agree with JV leadership how such experts will be available and accountable during project execution.You will make sure that the initial activities of the plan, s.a. POs to be placed or local authorities interaction and gathering authorizations, happen timely; while hiring of the project team is not yet complete. You will coordinate an external communication plan to protect confidentiality of the program and preserve cooperation with current repair supplier portfolio, especially in the early phases of the project.You will establish a comprehensive communication calendar to stay aligned and get feedbacks from JV leadership and key stakeholders

  During the execution of the project:

  You will lead and pace all the action on the plan.You will work with Sourcing and Operation team to make sure external suppliers portfolio is managed consistently with growing of internal capabilitiesYou will cooperate with quality, P&T and DT team to make that any improvement or modification to Aero Alliance processes (QMS) and tools made necessary by the plan is captured and paced as part of the plan itself. You will measure key KPIs of the project, both relevant to plan implementation as well as to performance of the newly introduced capabilities.You will report out to JV leadership and to external stakeholder as per agreed steering/communication plan.You will keep refreshing and updating plan as needed by actions status and consistently with feedback from leadership.

  Required Qualifications

  Master Degree in Engineering Significant and proven experience in program development and management and/or engineering developments Experience in shop operation and in people leadershipStrong project management ability. Demonstrated ability in cultivating strong multiple functional relationships Strong analytical skills.Excellent presentation, communication and team player attitudesFull availability to travel for business purposes world-wideFluency in English in speaking and writing
