  As a sales intern, he/she will be assisting at various stages of the sales efforts, including creating awareness of GE's gas turbines offerings, generating leads and retaining customers. The role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience working on challenging, meaningful projects under the guidance of a mentor and experienced team members.

  Job Description

  Roles and Responsibilities:

  Research and generate lists of potential customers.Conduct KYC for all new prospects in line with GE's guideline and policies.Provide input on customer briefs, and sales presentations.Help develop client relationships, customer intimacy, and retain existing accounts.Assist in evaluating new sponsorship opportunities.Learn and apply sales tools and techniques in line with GE policies.Maintain sales records on Sales Force (SFDC).

  Qualifications/Requirements

  Bachelor's degree in Economics or Engineering ( Mechanical or Electrical ) from accredited university.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.Fluency in English.

  General knowledge of energy project development and the Nigeria electricity.supply structure and landscape.Effective working experience with cross-functional teams to meet time-sensitive business objectives.A goal-oriented, resilient, and confident individual.Outstanding communication and team player skills.Integrity accepting and adhering to high ethical, moral and personal values in decisions, communications, actions and when dealing with others.Strategic thinker.Highly organized/able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.High level of accuracy and attention to detail.Proactive/resourceful
