Job Summary
Position Summary
Under the direction of the Manager Professional Reimbursement Programs, updates and maintains procedure codes and adjudication indicator settings for IL and HCSC Plans. Maintains Blue Shield (professional) fee schedules for managed care and indemnity products. Supports managing of the pricing mailbox, NDC fee schedule and monthly updates. Manages the testing of quarterly PREMIER discounting data.
Required Job Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree and 2 years' experience in the health care industry working with professional coding structures and payment mechanisms including RBRVS.
• Knowledge of medical practice patterns, professional coding and payment structures.
• Clear and concise interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical and quantitative skills
Preferred Job Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Health Care Economics
• Master's Degree in Health Care or Business Administration
