Pediatrics is a 20-bed unit that provides compassionate care for commonillnesses including urinary tract infections, respiratory problems,dehydration, ingestions, abdominal pain, appendicitis and gallbladderdisease. In addition, we offer subspecialty care in pediatric neurology andseizure treatment, pediatric infectious disease and pediatric cardiology.We also provide a broad range of surgical specialties, including generalsurgery, ear, nose and throat (ENT), orthopedic and neurosurgeryservices. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4.
Job Summary
Under general supervision, adheres to the American Nurses Association(ANA) standards of professional nursing and performance, and the ANACode of Ethics to provide care to all healthcare consumers. Applies criticalthinking, evidence-based practices and competence to collaborate with thehealth care team to promote excellence in healthcare consumer safety andquality outcomes. Utilizes the Theory of Human Caring and Caritas in dailypractice. "Jean Watson, PhD, RN, AHN-BC, FAAN, Founder /Director, Watson Caring Science Institute."
Essential Functions:

Education:
Associate's Degree Required
Work Experience:
