　　We invite you to join our 4thFloor Neuro Step Down Unit at Scripps Mercy San Diego. Our nurses thrive in a culture that is team-oriented and focused on quality care. The ideal candidate will have a minimum 12 months of RN experience with 6 months in an inpatient setting such as SNF, LTAC or Acute Care. Experience in PCU, Stepdown or Tele is preferred.

　　Our Registered Nurses are responsible for providing direct patient care within the scope of his/her practice. Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes. With quality patient and family-centered care in mind, the RN takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under his/her supervision. Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

　　This is a Full Time 0.75 FTE (60 hours per pay period), 12-Hour Night Shift, position located at Scripps Mercy San Diego in the community of Hillcrest.

　　Required Qualifications:

　　Registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing

　　Current CA RN License

　　One (1) year of RN experience, 6 months in Inpatient environment

　　Current American Heart Association, Healthcare Provider, BLS & ACLS Certification

　　Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English

　　Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors

　　Preferred Qualifications:

　　Six (6) months of RN experience Tele, DOU, PCU or Stepdown

　　NIHSS certification

　　Bachelor's degree in Nursing
