　　Responsibilities

　　Provide patients with nursing support by telephone.

　　Prepare documentation information and transmits medical information.

　　Provide non-judgmental triage and/or advice using the nursing process, specific protocols and established resources.

　　Direct callers to appropriate level of care and provides healthcare advice/education using assessment skills, approved guidelines, and knowledge of self-care practices.

　　Select and deliver appropriate follow-up materials.

　　Provide professional, safe and effective care-related advice to patients.

　　Requirements

　　Licensure / Certification / Registration:

　　BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

　　Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.

　　Education:

　　Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.Additional Preferences
