Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a skilled Accounting Clerk in the Non-Profit industry. Based in SYLVANIA, Ohio, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing various accounting tasks and maintaining accurate records for our organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the processing of incoming invoices and ensure their prompt payment.

• Conduct account reconciliations and maintain accurate credit records.

• Assist with the preparation of financial reports and cash forecasting.

• Contribute to the annual budgeting process and year-end auditing.

• Manage month-end General Ledger post and reconciliation.

• Prepare tax exempt forms as necessary.

• Collaborate on special projects, such as fixed assets and grants/funds management.

• Provide backup support for Accounts Receivable management.

• Contribute to non-profit benchmarking and GuideStar Rating.

• Perform other assigned duties related to accounting and financial management. Requirements

• Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role.

• Proficiency in account reconciliation is required.

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is a must.

• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary.

• Experience in invoice processing is required.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is expected.

• Knowledge of Financial Edge software is a plus.

• Previous experience in a non-profit organization is an advantage but not mandatory.

• An Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required
