This professional nursing position is responsiblefor providing direct and indirect patient care to a mostly geriatricand/or disabled population. The Nurse Clinician 2 provides direction toother staff in the provision and coordination of member care, andmonitors care given by other health team members on a unit, floor, or ina building. All activities are performed in accordance with applicableindustry standards of practice, facility policy/procedures, and facilityand governmental rules and regulations. Nurse Clinician 2 positions workon all three (3) shifts; AM, PM, and NOC (overnight). We have part-timeand full-time positions. Candidate preferences gathered at time ofinterview. Nurse Clinician 2 positions work multiple shifts, weekends,holidays, and overtime as needed. Job duties require the ability toassist in mobility efforts, stand and/or walk up to 75% of eight-hourday to provide assessments, kneel, stoop, make visual observations,lift, push, pull, carry, reach, maintain hygiene, use special safetyequipment, and wear protective clothing. Employment in this position iscontingent upon passing a pre-employment tuberculosis (TB) skin test.Employees at this healthcare facility are required to report theirCOVID-19 vaccination status, whether vaccinated or not, and providesupporting documentation if vaccinated.
