Description$8,000 Sign on for externals with one year of experience.Ahuja Medical Center5th Floor Med/SurgOur floorAhuja 5th floor is a 36 bed medical/surgical unit, in which all beds have cardiac monitoring capability. It is comprised of all private rooms. Our patients range from 18 years old to 100+. On the 5th floor, an interdisciplinary approach is used to provide safe, patient/centered quality care to those we care for, assisting in returning the patient to his or her optimal potential. The unit is staffed by a Manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, RN's, LPN's, PCA's and Clerical Associates. We work along-side the hospitalist team, community providers as well as many of the hospitals Nurse Practitioners and Physicians assistants. We also have a night shift nurse practitioner and surgical app on most evening shifts. We work well with other hospital departments to provide the best possible care to our patients.What makes us uniqueWe are firm believers in teamwork!
