*This is a Full-Time (72 hours per pay period, every two weeks) position, with a 12-hour NIGHT shift schedule, on variable days of the week, including weekends and holidays. *

　　We invite you to join our Maternal Child Health team as a Float Pool Registered Nurse who will float between both Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla and Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas.

　　As a Registered Nurse for the Maternal Child Health Float Pool team, you will provide direct patient care within the scope of his/her practice. In addition…

　　· Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes.

　　· The RN takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under his/her supervision.

　　· Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

　　Preferred Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification/Education:

　　· Bachelor’s degree in nursing.

　　· EPIC experience.

　　· RNC-OB.

　　Required Experience/Specialized Skills:

　　· 1 year experience in Labor & Delivery AND Post-Partum

　　· Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English.

　　· Excellent interpersonal skills.

　　· Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors.

　　Required Certification/Registration:

　　· Current CA RN License

　　· Current BLS-C provider from American Heart Association

　　· Current Advanced NRP (AAP-Issued 7th or 8th edition)

　　· Current Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring from AWHONN or NCC

　　Required Education/Course(s)/Training:

　　· Registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing.
