The RN will be providing Correctional Medical care for those housed at the Miami County Jail.Position Highlights:Full-time, 32-36 hours per weekWe staff from 6a-10p Monday thru Friday and 6a-5p on the weekends.There are two jails that the nurses move between, 2042 County Rd 25A and 201 W Main street, both Troy, OhioAdult populationJob Duties:Provide a range of medical care to include primary, addiction, urgent and behavioral health careFree from coding, billing, insurance, satisfaction surveys, ICD-10 and DRGSCare is evidence based. We address needs, not wantsVast array of medical pathology that is not seen in any one other healthcare locationWork is socially meaningful as patients are a socially marginalized and lack ordinary access to medical care whether due to lack of insurance, mental illness or homelessness (**for anyone interested in addiction medicine or mental health)Large degree of medical autonomy and free of micromanaging.
