[Description of Duties: Apply 22 hours of direct service to individuals in community weekly. Apply professionalcomprehensive nursingcare principles and procedures in the evaluation and treatment of the psychiatric patient. Assess, Monitor, and treat individual from a holistically in an outpatient and home setting. Prepare and administer treatments to include giving injections, providing medication and nutrition counseling. Identify potential referrals for healthcare and make necessary referrals. Monitor medications, including psychotropic drugs, and effects on psychiatric patients. Monitor and report symptoms and behavior patterns of emotionally disturbed mentally ill patients. Responsible for developing treatment plans, assessments, and direct patient care. Manage medical and psychiatric emergency procedures. Collaborate with a 4-member team to work with clinical and case management staff to coordinate care and treatment plans for individuals; and to perform related work to deliver high quality service to individuals with mental and emotional disorders. Use professional judgment to ascertain and to apply appropriate intervention techniques with patients in crisis. Effectively communicate with Psychiatrists and other behavioral health staffing designing appropriate treatment plans for individuals. Provide prompt, efficient, and responsive service.[Transporting individuals served is a requirement.**

Minimum Qualifications: Active RN Licensure in the State of Georgia. Two years' work experience in Health Services or Human Services Programs and 6-months experience in home/community setting. Must have a valid, unrestricted Georgia Driver's License. Must have current AHA CPR and First Aid Certification. Must be computer-literate.
