Job Description

　　With 118 beds and more than 400 physicians on its medical staff, Pali Momi Medical Center offers a full range of services for the communities of Central and West O'ahu. The hospital has delivered many medical firsts for the community, including Central and West O'ahu’s only interventional cardiac catheterization unit to detect and treat heart disease, a fully integrated minimally invasive surgical suite, a comprehensive women’s center, CT scan and MRI services, and the state’s first retina center. Pali Momi is the only facility in Hawai'i that uses a team triage approach in its emergency room, where patients are promptly evaluated by an emergency physician.

　　If you have exceptional patient care skills and enjoy working as part of a dedicated nursing team, you can help us ensure a safe, comfortable and therapeutic environment for patients and their families as a Registered Charge Nurse in our Cardiac Cath Lab. You will be responsible for coordinating nursing activity during assigned shifts; delegating nursing care assignments based on available staff and resources; and overseeing appropriate patient care within nursing and departmental guidelines. This position is for someone qualified and assertive, with excellent communication skills, a strong sense of quality control, the ability to manage staff and unit work priorities and a commitment to helping our organization deliver the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people.

　　Minimum Qualifications: Current Hawai‘i Registered Nurse License. Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card. Two (2) years recent acute care Registered Nurse including six (6) months relief charge nurse experience.

　　Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field.
