　　University of Washington Medical Center - Montlake has an outstanding opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN) in the outpatient Cardiac Catheterization Cath Lab. DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION: The Cardiac Cath Lab RN provides direct and indirect patient care in Cath Lab procedures. They effectively communicate with physicians and other staff about changes in the patient’s condition, including hemodynamic monitoring and symptomatology. The RN responds quickly and accurately to changes or needs based on the patient assessments.

　　WORK SCHEDULE: • 100% ‘days,’ 10-hr shifts (4 per week with rotating day off)• ‘On-Call’ shifts

　　PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • Ongoing care of procedural patients, providing moderate sedation per UWMC policy, documentation in EPIC, monitoring and circulating diagnostic and complex interventional cardiology procedures.• May participate in performance improvement and CQI activities within the department.• Takes Cath Lab “On-Call” after regular department hours according to a monthly schedule.

　　REQUIREMENTS: • Active WA State RN License by start date.• Current BLS and ACLS.• At least 1-2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience.
