Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Basic Life Insurance Tuition Reimbursement Employer Paid Short-Term Disability and Long-Term Disability Adoption Assistance Plan Qualifications: Bachelor (BS) degree in course work approved by the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Registered Dietitian through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) required Minnesota State licensure preferred Experience working in a healthcare environment and with persons with chronic disease Motivational interviewing skills Certifications in sub-specialty fields preferred Job Responsibilities: Assesses learning needs of patients and provides appropriate education to help each patient make informed decisions. Conducts individual and group classes on nutrition topics. Develops and reviews nutrition education programs and materials on a variety of nutritional topics to ensure patients and providers receive appropriate, up-to-date information. Assists in project completion, policy and procedure manual revisions, and other duties assigned as necessary. Conducts telehealth visits (hospital not applicable). Acts as resource in the absence of the manager of nutrition services. Assists with food/supply inventory and ordering (ambulatory not applicable). Acts as preceptor to dietetic interns. Works with a multidisciplinary team. Other duties as assigned.
