Regional warranty manager responsibilities:
Assist local dealerships with warranty related questions or decisions
Maintain positive communications/relationships with local dealerships
Provide feedback to local dealership on how to maximize labor recovery and avoid significant financial impact during audits
Directs and schedules the work of Warranty Administrators and Warranty Advisors
Monitors team productivity reports and accounting schedules
Assist team with reviewing warranty claims and helping to resolve claims corrections and charge-backs to minimize potential write-off or customer bill backs. Provide directions on how to recover loss labor to avoid financial impact.
Assist team in reconciling warranty receivables and working with the accounting department to remedy outstanding balances
Communicates OE recalls and announcements to team and local dealers
Provides reports on a daily, weekly, monthly and on demand basis
Facilitates and/or conducts training on proper techniques, policies, regulations, and best practices and recommends employees to appropriate training as needed
Assist local dealers with payroll and month-end deadlines such as booking or closing repair orders
Perform duties or special projects as assigned by management team
Regional warranty manager requirements:
High school diploma or the equivalent and two year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Two to four year’s related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated customer service skills
Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
Ability to communicate OEM warranty guidelines to ensure adherence in daily business operations
Knowledge of automotive parts, trucking equipment installation and repairs
Ability to deal effectively ,listen and communicate with all customers and co-workers.
Ability to operate all necessary office equipment
