  About Rosenthal Wine Merchant Rosenthal Wine Merchant (RWM) is a leading importer and distributor of premium fine wines from Western Europe. Position Overview Rosenthal Wine Merchant is expanding its presence in the Midwestern region and is looking for an exceptional individual to join its group of highly efficient sales representatives. We are seeking an experienced candidate who will be a cultural fit with our rigorous work ethic and exceedingly high standards; the type of person who takes great pride in his/her work. This position will require a person of great skill, high energy, intimate knowledge of the wines of our portfolio and those of similar standards. The ideal candidate will be an ambitious, diligent, and knowledgeable representative who wants to help develop our territory. We look for dedicated individuals who believe in our mission and share our passion for representing the greatest wines of Europe (primarily from France and Italy). The desired base location for this position will be one of the key metropolitan markets within the territory of MN, MO, WI. Responsibilities • Develop, grow and maintain a sales territory in at least seven Midwestern states • Establish positive business relationships with sales teams and portfolio managers of regional distributors and key clients in each market • Organize periodic market visits throughout the year • Oversee the allocation and distribution of RWM wines across the territory • Be a knowledgeable resource and representative of the Rosenthal portfolio • Achieve agreed upon sales targets Qualifications • Minimum five years of related industry experience • Expertise in European wine, particularly French and Italian • Proven success managing a sales territory • Strong interpersonal communication skills • Ability to analyze sales report and related sales data Rosenthal Wine Merchant is an Equal Opportunity Employer that complies with the laws and regulations set forth under EEOC.
