Position Purpose:You contribute to Veolias success by overseeing implementation,compliance, legislative changes, analysis, plan management,administration support, vendor management, RFP & integration, relevantprojects and communication of all retirement & financial benefit plansincluding, but not limited to, 401(k), pension, nonqualified programs,life insurance and retiree medical. Provide leadership on merger andacquisition (M&A) initiatives by assessing potential acquisitions duediligence and leading the integration of retirement & financial benefitstrategies and programs for newly acquired entities. Primary Duties/Responsibilities: * Manage, developand deliver employee qualified and nonqualified retirement programs andother financial benefits and education. * Lead project management forplanning of acquired companies &/or M&A, oversee the project andimplementation of competitive harmonized retirement benefits. * Partnerwith ERISA counsel and vendors to ensure compliance requirements meet orexceed for all retirement plans including providing guidance regardingnew or existing DOL and IRS regulations relating to plan audits,financial reporting, government form filings (e.g., Form 5500), fundingnotices (SAR/AFN) and reporting, SPD/plan amendments etc. * Maintainawareness of current retirement benefits programs, market trends,legislative, tax, and social changes. Assess impact to the Companysprograms and design, advise senior leadership on recommendedimprovements and necessary updates, and manage implementation of changesas needed. * Lead the communication/marketing of benefits programs toensure that the financial investment is optimized through employeeunderstanding, attraction and retention. * Develop fiscal year budgetfor all program costs. Accountable for tracking plan costs on monthly,quarterly and/or annual basis. * Serve as liaison and managerelationships with investment advisors with regard to investmentmanagement, quarterly fiduciary meetings, etc. * Coordinate fiduciarymeetings, non-discrimination testing, audits and/or any other mattersrelated to retirement & financial benefit plans to ensure compliant planmanagement. * Design, develop, monitor, and analyze benchmarking dataand other metrics relevant to retirement and financial benefits. *Partner with People (HR) Services & HRIS to provide guidance and supporttimely day to day matters &/or corrections. * Evaluate, recommend andselect retirement and/or financial benefit providers.
