With Amazon Flex, individuals can now be their own boss delivering Amazon packages.As the Regional Compliance Leader for the North America (NA) region for Amazon Flex, you will be responsible for partnering with business, legal, and other stakeholder teams in the region to drive compliance and risk management initiatives. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with multiple stakeholders and influencing local and global strategies. In addition, you will assess compliance and risks issues, identify and execute on opportunities to reduce risk, review and manage program changes, and own regular reporting to key stakeholders. The successful candidate will propose innovative approaches and strategies throughout the business life-cycle, while also being able to monitor and improve existing compliance frameworks across regions.Experience with Independent Contractor business models and compliance and risk management as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills, high attention to detail, and a proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment will be helpful for success in this role.Key job responsibilities- Developing a deep understanding of the business and internal programs, processes, and solutions and identifying opportunities for improvements- Partnering with stakeholders to identify potential compliance and risk issues and driving solutions to mitigate those- Reporting current state and status updates to senior leaders on a regular cadence- Consulting on potential challenges/obstacles for expansions and new program features- Thinking Big - and injecting new, innovative ways of thinking into the programWe are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:Austin, TX, USA | Bellevue, WA, USA | Tempe, AZ, USA- 5+ years of program or project management experience- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership- Bachelor's degree- Experience defining and executing program requirements- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams- Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardizationOur compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
