Overview

　　The ideal candidate for Recreation Assistant will render ministerial, outreach, recreational and physical fitness services to the East Cleveland Community. Make full use of the Corps and community resources under the direction of the Recreation Program Coordinator.

　　Responsibilities

　　Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

　　Striving to uphold a solid Christian influence.

　　Assistsing Recreation Coordinator in planning, organizing, developing, scheduling, enforcing rules, evaluating recreation, fitness, spray park, special events and facility rentals.

　　Maintaining statistics for all community center programs

　　Maintaining supplies and equipment

　　Assisting with marketing and promotion of all recreation programs, activities and events

　　Qualifications

　　Must be 21 years of age.

　　Must have a valid driver's license with clean driving record.

　　Ability to drive 12 passenger van and pass required Salvation Army driving test.

　　Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

　　Must have bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience.

　　Must have practical experience in youth work and recreational programs.
