Compensation : $16.00 - $18.00 per hour (commensurate with experience) and growth potential
POSITION SUMMARY
The Receptionist/Administrative Support answers phones, greets and assists customers, routes customers to appropriate Sales member, and provides administrative functions in support of the Office and Sales staff. The ideal candidate is a high-energy individual with excellent organizational skills, a strong attention to detail, and exceptional communications skills, both verbally and written with internal and external customers to support our small Manufacturing facility that is growing rapidly.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Field inbound communications - Answer phone calls/general email inquiries and route to the appropriate internal parties as needed
Coordinate scheduling - Set up meetings based on cross-functional availability for both internal and external stakeholders
Organize internal resources - Build out and maintain processes to keep files and office supplies organized and easily accessible
Liaise with visitors - Act as point person for office guests
Effectively provide excellent communicate to customers and potential clients over the phone and in-person
Route incoming customers and potential clients to an Inside Sales Representative to assist them with potential windows and/or doors sale.
Sort and distribute incoming mail
Provide administrative support functions to assist Sales team
Assist various departments on a as-needed basis
REQUIRED JOB-RELATED SPECIFICATIONS
Computer Skills and PC skills required
Familiarity with office equipment (i.e. multi-line phone system, printers, fax machines, scanners, projectors)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
Excellent phone etiquette
Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Positive, high-energy attitude
Take initiative to take on more responsibilities
Resourcefulness, creativity, and problem-solving skill set
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of High School Diploma or Equivalent required
Minimum of 2-3 years work experience as a receptionist with administrative support functions
