Microsoft Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I) is the engine that powers Microsoft's cloud services and our team is focused on delivering high quality infrastructure to support cloud operations. As Microsoft’s Cloud business continues to mature, our infrastructure expansion accelerates, and Datacenters are central to this growth. To support this, the acquisition and development of our owned, designed and constructed Datacenter facilities will scale to meet the demands of our customers, while we also continue to lease and acquire Datacenter capacity at pace, particularly in our high growth markets, working closely with Data Center and Network operators in each region, and across the Globe.
Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I) is responsible for planning, building and operating Microsoft’s cloud infrastructure datacenters across the globe. Within CO+I, the organizational scope includes supply planning and strategic acquisition, global construction, datacenter and edge site operations, critical environment and availability, engineering, and datacenter innovation. To help us accelerate achieving our objectives, growth and transformation, we are looking for a Real Estate Portfolio Program Manager to work in our Strategic Planning and Operations team within the Lease and Land Development organization. The role will work with our Strategic Planning and Operations team in driving business programs, organizational initiatives, and business processes. This individual must have a blend of program management and operations skills to be successful.

Responsibilities
Develops and implements processes, procedures and systems that continually improve and streamline the operation and management of Global Portfolio Management and Land & Lease Development.
Enables innovative solutions using data, process and tools that deliver on Portfolio Strategic Planning and Operations priorities.
Creates business analytics and presentations that support business operations & performance reviews.
Collaborate with senior leaders and key stakeholders to drive clarity, alignment and progress on key initiatives.
Possess an ability to develop business requirements, iterate using agile methodology and partner with business intelligence experts and engineering to develop tools and systems.
Conducts periodic meetings with internal and external stakeholders to review satisfaction with current programs.
Project manages initiatives while ensuring stakeholder alignment and desired outcomes are achieved.
Operate as a Subject Matter Expert on tools and processes to drive consistency and standardization to our operations.
Establish a results-oriented, data-driven programmatic approach to strategic portfolio management to develop improvements and efficiencies for our business.
Planning and Strategy: This person will play a vital role in strategic evaluation and business planning, coordination of data solutions, technical and user-adoption programs.
Governance: Monitor operational performance and track efficacy relative to expectations post-close. Maintain ongoing relationships with partners to ensure compliance and commitments are fulfilled.
Develop reports and analyze data identifying insights and areas for improvement
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Real Estate, Project Management, or related field AND 5+ years relevant experience
OR 7+ years equivalent experience.
5+ years demonstratable project management experience.
Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check every two years thereafter.Preferred Qualifications
2+ years datacenter domain experience preferred
Proactiveness and a positive outlook and approach to change management
Business acumen and mental agility to ramp quickly across our diverse business and offerings
Enjoy working under pressure and deadlines, be able to work independently, with the ability to manage complexity while driving clarity
Experience in managing virtual teams and driving impact without direct authority
Preferred background in Lease and Land Development, demonstrating expertise and understanding of the intricacies involved in these areas.
Real Estate Portfolio Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $112,200 - $194,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $142,200 - $213,200 per year.
