Hiring an HR Generalist!
Must be willing to work on-site in our Garden Grove, CA office - 5 days/week.
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of HR functions and managing payroll processes efficiently. This role requires a thorough understanding of HR policies, payroll regulations, and a strong commitment to maintaining accurate and timely payroll records.
Reporting Location: Candidate must be willing to work on-site at our Garden Grove, CA office, Monday - Friday.
Not a remote position.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Processing:
Manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Calculate and process salary adjustments, bonuses, and deductions.
Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee queries related to payroll issues.
HR Administration:
Oversee day-to-day HR administrative tasks, including maintaining employee records, updating HRIS (Human Resources Information System), and ensuring data accuracy.
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Conduct new employee orientations and facilitate the onboarding process.
Benefits Administration:
Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other fringe benefits.
Collaborate with external vendors to ensure the effective delivery of employee benefits.
Compliance and Reporting:
Stay informed about relevant labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
Prepare and submit required payroll and HR reports to regulatory authorities as needed.
Employee Relations:
Address employee inquiries and concerns related to HR policies, payroll, and benefits.
Collaborate with managers to resolve employee relations issues and participate in conflict resolution processes.
Performance Management:
Support performance management processes, including performance appraisals and goal-setting.
Guide employees and managers on performance-related matters.
Training and Development:
Identify training needs and coordinate training sessions for employees.
Support the implementation of professional development programs.
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring confidentiality and security.Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience as an HR Generalist with a focus on payroll processing.
In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and HR best practices.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in HRIS and payroll software such as ADP
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
