We are looking for a talented R&D Technician to join our innovative medical device company.
What will you do?
You will be responsible for lab testing activities, such as:
Fabricate and build Prototypes - weld, screw, glue, cut, etc. (handles, shafts, and implants)Performing hands-on Tests, assembling under the microscopeData collection, reports writing, equipment qualification, and additional R&D supportDeveloping new test systems and improving existing test systems together with R&D teamsWorking with vendors
Experience, Education & Skills Requirements:
High school diplomaPractical Engineer diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (an advantage)Minimum 2 years' experience working in technical environments with a microscope (including military experience)Good EnglishKnowledge of the use of Microsoft Office programs, particularly Word and ExcelThe job will require participation in animal studies from time to timeAdhesive experience- an advantageLeaser welding experience - an advantage
