Ramp Agent play a critical role in the health and welfare of passengers and ensure they travel safely and on time. As a Ramp Agent (Passenger Services), some of your responsibilities include:
Ensuring all Quantem and customer safety standards are met and maintained
Performs daily vehicle/equipment inspections
Providing timely service for on-time departures and special handling of luggage / cargo (as required)
Ability to communicate with staff and customers
Assisting in the arrival and departure of the aircraft to the gate
Operating motorized ground services equipment
Maintain vehicles, ramp/work areas, and operation equipment clean and safe
Aircraft cabin cleaning duties to include: vacuuming and cleaning by hand of all seats, seat back pockets, floors, pantries, galleys, toilets, telephones, windows, flight deck (if specified), and passenger and crew compartments; removing trash; wiping tables; and clearing waste from aircraft
Correct handling of international garbage as required by the company, carrier, and the Department of Agriculture
Responding to customer inquiries and requests in a timely manner

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays
Must be 18 years or older
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license
This position requires a employees to obtain a US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) seal. Orlando FL CBP requires US citizenship or US permanent resident status in order to receive a CBP seal
Must pass required background and clearance requirements, and successful completion of required badging process
Ability to communicate in English
Ability to occasionally lift up to 70 pounds in a safe manner
Ability to climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and carry heavy items up/down jetway stairs during time constraints
Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
This position requires regular on-site attendance to meet immediate business demands. Remote or hybrid work is prohibited
Changes in schedule may occur due to customer flight arrival times (late and/or schedule changes), diversions, or other unforeseen circumstances. Some flexibility may be required upon short notice
