　　Contributes to the decision-making on policies and problem solving;

　　Participates in communication between all constituents/affiliates, bothinternal and external;

　　Active, unencumbered registered nursing license for the state ofArkansas;

　　Must be able to teach theory or clinical in either morning, evening, orweekend schedules;

　　Strong verbal, written, and electronic communication skills;

　　Microsoft Office proficiency;

　　Evaluate student performance fairly and consistently toward courseobjectives; and

　　Ability to work effectively as a team member.

　　Classroom management, ordering textbooks and classroom supplies

　　Candidates must possess a thorough knowledge of the teaching field, ademonstrated commitment to student success with a student-centeredapproach to education, a demonstrated commitment to teaching excellenceand effectiveness, an understanding and appreciation of an appliedapproach to the study of the discipline, and a willingness to follow theapproved departmental curriculum established by the departmental facultyand dean. Candidate must have a demonstrated commitment to teachingexcellence and effectiveness, student-centered approach to education,and a commitment to student development in and outside of the classroom.Candidate must also have the ability to communicate and work effectivelywith students, college faculty and staff, and the community.
