　　Quantity Surveyor

　　The Sellafield nuclear site is home to one of the most complex portfolios of construction and infrastructure projects in the world, stretching over many decades, support the transformation from nuclear operator into a world leader in environmental remediation.

　　Supporting faster, more effective project delivery, stability in design and construction supply chains, greater workforce flexibility, and local economic benefit.

　　Project Controls and Commercial Services (PCCS) is the mechanism in which Sellafield Ltd have engaged KBR Ltd to provide Commercial and Project Controls Services to the portfolio of enterprise projects, in addition to the original PPP programme. Those services include the provision of some 150+ Commercial and Project Controls Professionals across the Sellafield Ltd network of Projects.

　　THE ROLE

　　Quantity Surveyor

　　Reporting to a senior member of the commercial team required to undertake the day-to-day project contract/ commercial matters.

　　MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

　　Delivery of project commercial reports

　　Project Commercial administration and reporting

　　Delivery of project internal and external commercial targets

　　Application for Payment processing

　　Subcontract administration and management

　　Engagement with project stakeholders on commercial matters.

　　EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

　　BSc in related subject or equivalent project experience

　　Relevant experience of working as part of a project commercial team

　　Chartered member to a recognised organisation (RICS or CIOB) an advantage

　　Sound knowledge of commercial aspects of civil and infrastructure projects

　　Experience in project expenditure profiling, cost reporting and cost forecasting

　　Excellent written and verbal communication skills

　　Experience of administrating construction contracts

　　Experience of a Contract Management System preferred but not essential.

　　Capable of obtaining (or currently holds) UK Nuclear industry clearance
