Eaton's Power Components Division is currently seeking a Quality Technician.

　　This role is located out of Beaver, PA. Relocation assistance will be provided.

　　The expected annual salary range for this role is $58,500- $85,800 a year.

　　What you'll do:

　　Solve the day-to-day quality problems to encompass all parts, products and processes to improve quality. Involve the affected departments, coordinate and report solutions.Provide guidance to others in establishing quality control techniques for determining, maintaining, and improving the quality of manufacturing operations. Make decisions pertaining to quality and determine responsibility for failure to meet quality standards.Set-up and implement quality conformance criteria and control charts and monitor for adherence to standards.Assist engineers and supervisors in establishing or changing methods, techniques or materials for existing or new apparatus for the control of quality or improvement. Collaborate with engineers and supervisors on related drawing changes.Inspect parts or product (using measuring tools, mechanical, and electrical equipment) as required for manufacturing procedures and processes; document and report results. Perform mechanical or electrical tests that are required in the manufacture of the apparatus to determine that quality is being maintained.Assist in the development, wiring, and programming of current and new test equipment.Chart data gathered from various quality checks to be used in analysis, decisions, and feedback for quality improvement.

　　Qualifications:

　　Basic Qualifications:

　　Minimum of a two-year technical degree or equivalent.Two (2) years of experience in manufacturing environmentMust be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.Relocation assistance will be provided for candidates that reside outside a 50-mile radius of Beaver, PA.

　　Preferred Qualifications:

　　Four-year degree in mechanical / electrical / industrial engineeringExperience interpreting and inspecting dimensions using GD&T from engineering drawingsASQ CertifiedCourses in blueprint reading or mechanical drawing or equivalency in job experience

　　Skills:

　　Possess knowledge of a wide range of problem solving tools and methods and analytical/statistical techniques, including 8D; Six Sigma; problem definition; basic data collection - pareto, histogram, scatter plot; brainstorming; 5-why's; fishbone; cause-effect; error proofing; Variation Analysis, SPC, MSA, DOEAbility to select and apply problem solving tools and methods to make data based decisions to sustain higher levels of process or product quality.Possess knowledge and understanding of National and International Standards (e.g. ISO / AS / TS) and where applicable other Industry related standards including specific customer requirements.Ability to use proven tools, techniques, and methodologies to inspect products, measure process performance, perform product verification and validation testing, and to provide feedback reporting as required.
