SMC manufactures E-Motors for development in a variety of equipment and vehicles. The Quality Technician will support the plant processes as an advocate of the internal and external customers. This will be accomplished with direct support to the manufacturing operation along with support of engineering activities.Job Duties and Responsibilities* Perform incoming and in-process inspections of productive parts and assemblies.* Perform line audits to verify compliance to safety, production processes and product inspections.* Final audit inspections to verify outgoing product to customer.* Inspection and review of non-conforming and reported scrap for dispositioning of products.* Assist with analysis activities.* Assist with gage control activities which includes tracking, calibration, gage qualifications and purchasing.* Create documents which includes, but not limited to, work instructions and data collection forms.* Assist plant quality as required.Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:* High school graduate or GED required.* Demonstrated strength of character to succeed in high pressure manufacturing environment.* Willing to work in a highly visible environment.
